Carrie & Aaron

Carrie & Aaron made it clear the first time that I met them that their wedding wasn’t going to fit the ‘norm.’ They were going to get ready for the day at home…together. That is certainly a break from the norm. I was a bit unsure how that would go but I quickly found out how much I enjoyed the laid back vibe everybody in the house had. Carrie casually put her makeup on while sipping mimosas (if a splash of OJ still qualifies as a mimosa) and chatting with the bridesmaids.

Aaron and the guys were relaxing upstairs drinking beer and hanging out as if it were an impromptu Wednesday night game session. The only time anyone’s pulse went up at all was during the vows. (happens to the best of us.) It was laid back, intimate and fun. It was a great wedding especially since it was authentically Carrie & Aaron!

Here are just a few of my favorite snags from the day!
